Yunnan Changtai Group is a large private own enterprise that consists of the following companies: Yunnan Xishuangbanna Changtai Tea Ltd., Xishuangbanna Yiwu Tea Ltd., Xishuangbanna shuanggan Tea Ltd., Simao Jianchen Sipu Tea Ltd., and Xishuangbanna Tea Import/Export Trade Ltd.

Yunnan Changtai Tea Group has a registered capital of 12 millions RMB and its estate is valued at 80 millions RMB. It is anticipated that it would produce 3500 tons of special, premium teas, bring its revenue to 80 million RMB annually.

After its establishment, the company underwent a rapid expansion with the supportting from the governments at all levels, and business partnerships. At present, the company has 600 workers, among them 80 tea experts and management talents. It takes more than 30000 meter square product bases and more than 10000 mu tea fields.

The company has many well known products, including Yichang Hao, Changtai Hao, Henfunyang, Chenhongchang, Sipuyang series. The products are sold all over China, and Japan. Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and etc. The group was rewarded with 'China famous west brand', AAA+ enterprise, Trustworthy Company, and a few other awards.

Established in 1999, the company had set a division in Yiwu county and produced its first batch of Yichanghao Pu-erh tea cakes. The product became an instant hit. After years, the aged Yichanghao became better and better and it was nicknamed as '99 Yichang' as a collectable item. Even today, Yichang Hao is still a flagship product, the best wild Yiwu tea brand. In 2005 the company obtained its Green Food and Organic Food certifications.

Yichang Hao is made by using selected wild Yiwu raw materials, processed by a traditional stone mold. Based on the grade of the raw materials, the products are divided into many classes, superior, premium, and first class, most products are in the form of tea cake, tuocha, and special brick.
