Li's Guzhuang Tea Factory
The time was Qing dynasty Guangxu Year 26 (1900), Mr. Li Wen in Jingu setup his tea workshop, with high quality sun dried tea leaf as raw material, used an indigenous method to steam and press into the moon shape round tea cake. By Qing dynasty Guangxu 28 year (1902) the tea became best-selling and it was called 'Tuocha'. The round tea cake (Gu Cha, Gu Zhuangcha) established the bowl-shaped tuocha form, Jinggu bacome the source of tuocha in Yunnan.

Li was the founder for Tuocha. At the time, Li's Guzhuang was the best-selling brand in China, Tibet, Mongolia as well as abroad, the cake, the brick, melon, so many specifications, it presented an impressive sight.
Guzhuang Pu-erh tea uses sun dried raw material harvested from over 100 years old tree in Jinggu, followed by a family owned processing method. Because the output of Jinggu local old tea tree is limited, the Guzhuang Pu-erh tea limits its production quantity each year to 120 tons.
